stomach tissue that produced stomach acid in my large intestine
It wasn't discovered to be a severe medical issue until i was 4 years old and bleeding steadily out my back side. I had to have surgery to remove 10 feet of my large intestine when it was found it had multiple holes burned through by the stomach acid. I had been trying to find exactly what i had.
That sounds like an anomaly that is very rare. I don't think I've ever heard of that. Are you sure you didn't have an obstruction or maybe a torsion of the intestines that then caused part of your intestines to die and need to be removed (if intestines twists, this can happen)?

I wonder if you couldn't get ahold of your medical records from that time and take them to your doctor to discuss.
