pull through surgery

my son was born with imperfrate anus and has not yet had pull through he is 14 mnths , i am considering now maybe leaving him with the colostomy im not sue what is best for him i was hoping for some advice. im wondering what is better in the long run as there is a lot of risks with the surgery

sorry to hear about your son. may I ask where you live? the only reason being that I know of a pediatric surgeon who is in Southern Calif who can do wonders with that area of the body. I can give you some of his info if you'd like, just send me a message.

is there anyway to let him have a colostomy for a while until he is stronger then revisit the surgery? i am sorry your little guy and your family has to go through this
