Hi. I hope someone can help me. I recently had to have a TVT mesh sling removed (as much as possible). It was infected and exposed. I have been struggling with a bit with incontinence again but now there's a bigger problem. I was having a lot of pain, feeling fullness in my vagina and feeling as if I never completely finish a bowel movement. When at its worst, it is even difficult to urinate. UroGYN said it was rectocele and to work on Kegels for now and manual reduce it as needed and come back in 8 weeks. I don't have a problem with that. I trust him since he was the only doc willing to admit the mesh problem and fix it. Anyway, 4 days ago, I had to push the rectocele back in. As I stood up, I felt a sharp tearing feeling, not awful but uncomfortable. I kept having odd pain so I looked and found a lump about the size of the end of my finger at the front of my anus (nearest the vagina). I have never had hemorrhoids and don't really know what they look like. It was very uncomfotable and ached until it moved over to the right side of the anus. But there is still swelling near the front where it started. I'm wondering if I caused any serious damage in reducing the rectocele or if this is probably just a hemorrhoid. Also, I cannot reduce it or push it back in. It is not hard, but is very tense. I just don't want to call the doctor for something silly (and he's 2 hours away). Any help is appreciated.
