Well thanks for the info, can't you tell that specific doctor who cures you that thre are a lot sufferers out, and she can probably make a name of herself as well as more money. If she/ he can cure this, than this be a great opportunity for you and her. Direct her to this forum, if we can't afford the government can assist. Pls, if you really have truth and you're really cured, do that for us. We desperately want to get out of this condition. Thanks
Congratulations on getting better! Before you leave, could you please let us know what type or species of parasite you had in your intestines. I believe that will help us a lot.
Thanks!
Thanks so much observer for the update. I have actually taken B12 recently because of annoying twitching, I also took iron because of the recommendation of blood transfusion which I don't think doctor would do/ I don't think I would want, it very invasive!
This hypothesis is very good. However, what is it in particular that causes allergic reaction in people?
And what is the name of the parasite that was found in the small intestine.
Hopefully it is the solution if someone is encouraged.
Haber, gentlemen, who wrote this says; I went to the doctors, 1 doctor, 2 doctors, recommended treatments, supplements, etcs, BUT, don't know what it is. I mean, he went to the doctors and they didn't tell him, yet they gave him treatment without knowing what it really is? He says it is a perforated small intestine, BUT at the last he says he doesn't really know what it is. What he's trying to say doesn't make sense, he contradicts himself. On the other hand, many here did blood transfusion, this in the old forums, but they supposedly only lasted a few months and again needed a transfusion .......
I do not want to invalidate his writing, but he contradicts himself and in the end he says like everyone else, nothing objective ......

I've been here off and on for some years. I noticed that there is always someone claiming they found a cure. But when you question them about it their answer is either vague or they won't give one. I put this one down to bs. I don't know why some people make these type of posts, maybe they are miserable and misery loves company, but I would take this with a grain of salt.
Thanks for naming the parasite! (sarcasm)
I think he did blood transfusions because his anemic and the body doesn't responding to treatment...
It's good to see that there might be a treatment for PATM. As you've noted, there are a lot of variables going on in your treatment, which is completely understandable - I frequently try multiple treatments simultaneously as well - I'm too desperate to do things scientifically, and I delude myself into thinking that PATM could be cured with a blunt force application of some essential vitamin or mineral that my body might be lacking.
It seems that, based on your experiences, PATM could have been caused by: 1) a parasitic infection, 2) some imbalance of vitamins/minerals (B12/copper, etc.) responsible for regulating your histamine levels, 3) dysfunction of the upper intestine, or 4) some other thing that is most likely bloodborne in nature. What we do seem to know for sure is that your symptoms were alleviated after a blood transfusion? It sounds like you tried various supplements (B12, magnesium, copper as well as herbal remedies against the parasite) BEFORE the blood transfusion? And they did not alleviate PATM? And it sounds like you still had PATM even after removing the parasite (as confirmed by the capsule endoscopy)? In other words, the blood transfusion seemed to be the intervention that was actually efficacious?
I've supplemented B12, magnesium, copper, L-glutamine, and also DAO to help with digesting histamine, and none of these supplements (or any others) helped me, so I think the blood transfusion is the most likely cause of alleviating your PATM. It might still have to do with a parasite, but I've never had any reason to suspect a parasitic infection in me (despite lots of blood tests, stool culturing, etc.) and my PATM is pretty bad, so I think it's something bloodborne in nature, and a blood transfusion is simply the quickest way to get whatever PATM is out of our systems. We can debate about the etiology of PATM till the cows come home (i.e., what is PATM exactly and how did it inundate our systems - maybe compromised liver/immune functioning, etc.), but I'd rather worry about understanding PATM after getting rid of it.
So do you think the blood transfusion was the primary alleviator of your PATM symptoms? I've had PATM for over 2 years, which I think is long enough for my blood to have regenerated itself, but my PATM is still as bad as it ever was, so it seems that PATM needs to be manually removed from our systems (i.e., no amount of supplementation is going to help our bodies "heal" our blood of PATM). If you don't mind saying, what was the medical reason for your blood transfusion? That is, how might we convince a doctor to undertake this extreme measure for us?
Also, do you have a suggestion because i am seeing my doc on friday and I was going to ask for candida stool test. I did the blood test last year and it was negative. Do you suggest i ask for the stool test, vitamins and electrolytes test or a GI consult?
Plus I had h pylori but doc said it is gone now
