Everyone, I have figured it out!! I know exactly what is going on in our bodies. Alot pf you app have been saying that you sweat alot, there is an ammonia smell coming from you, etc. Speaking from my own experiences, I asked my closest friends if they smell anything on me after I go for a run. They say like a bleach smell but it's more like an AMMONIA smell.
Guys, our livers are messed up. My hypothesis: I started working out and increased my protein intake BY ALOT . I would notice a couple of reactions from people and thought nothing of the matter. At a music festival, the only thing I ate for those teo days were protein bars...snd then boom. The PATM started. My liver was failing due to the amount of protein I was taking. Your liver is responsible for digesting proteins; however, if it's not functioning properly or effectively (poor nutrition, environmental exposures, colognes, etc) it will produce AMMONIA IN OUR BODIES and into our BLOODSTREAM. Guys, this is exactly why most of you ate patm free because you did the cleanses and toook amino acids. Amino acids are used to help the liver and kidneys fucntion properly!! That's why when people took Dessicated Beef Liver pills, black seed oil, and oxy powder, they were PATM FREE!! I currently am experiencing lessened symptoms. I'm following a protein free diet as well as a dugar free diet. I've been using laxatives, oxy powder,and running everyday. My brain fog is almost gone!! My PATM reactions are finally dying down. Research this!! I'm 100000000000% sure this is what is causing all of our issues. Also , I could have a candida overgrowth as well. I am currently taking candida cleanse from Purely Hollistic, am picking up more SB probiotics, and sticking to a more vegan diet.

DETOXIFYING AMMONIA
Ammonia toxicityIn part 2 of AMMONIA TOXICITY we are going to find out what we can do to remove ammonia from our body, both by supporting the organs involved in processing and disposing of it, and by taking supplements with an affinity for removing ammonia.
We have seen that there are 3 organ systems in the body that produce and/or deal with ammonia: the liver, the kidneys and the intestines. Let’s look at each one separately and see what we can do to facilitate their ammonia detoxification functions.
THE LIVER: FIRST LINE OF DEFENSE AGAINST AMMONIA
Removal of ammonia begins with the liver, therefore keeping the liver healthy and well functioning will clearly help to improve ammonia removal. Since a major medical indicator of liver failure is high levels of ammonia in the bloodstream, it follows that detoxifying the liver may well be the best way to remove ammonia from the body.
The liver normally receives some ammonia via the intestines, from the bacterial break-down of amino acids found in dietary protein. A healthy liver detoxifies that ammonia, by converting it into urea, which is then removed from the body by way of the urine. But, if the liver is malfunctioning, the ammonia remains unprocessed, and will enter the bloodstream.
To enhance the detoxification pathways, the liver uses sulfur compounds to produce the antioxidant glutathione. The amino acid L-cysteine is the most crucial sulfur compound needed by the liver to produce glutathione. The best way to get L-cysteine into the body, in supplemental form, is to use N-acetyl-cysteine. NAC is a powerful antioxidant and immune stimulant, and as well has been shown to support lung function, and to help remove heavy metals.
It should be noted that taking NAC is more efficient at raising glutathione levels than taking actual glutathione, in supplement form. Vitamin C is also a potent elevator of glutathione production, with 500mg being sufficient to create this response. Other supplements that can effectively raise glutathione levels include Milk Thistle Extract, Alpha Lipoic Acid, L-Glutamine and Whey protein. The highest food sources of sulfur compounds include members of the cruciferous vegetable family (broccoli, cabbage, cauliflower, kale, etc), as well as eggs, soy, legumes, garlic and onions.
THE ROLE OF THE KIDNEYS IN REMOVING AMMONIA
Symptomsof hyperammonemiaAfter the liver has detoxified the ammonia, by turning it into urea, the kidneys are the next step in filtration before it is removed via the urine.
Surprisingly, part of keeping the kidneys functioning well is keeping the blood sugar levels stable. If we have consistent high blood sugar levels, it causes the kidneys to filter too much blood and, by overworking them, we reduce their filtering capacity. High blood sugar levels can lead to reduced potassium levels in the blood, and if too much potassium is excreted it leads to alkaline urine. Urine that is too alkaline will reduce the amount of ammonia that is removed by the kidneys.
Three amino acids, L-Arginine, L-Citrulline and L-Ornithine, are necessary components of the urea cycle, and are therefore believed to work as protective agents against ammonia toxicity. They do this by stimulating urea formation, which aids the kidneys in performing their detoxification function. All three of these amino acids may be purchased in supplemental form. But, of the three, L-Ornithine is particularly helpful for removing ammonia from the brain, because the brain does not contain the ornithine-related enzyme necessary to render ammonia harmless by changing it into urea.
Commonly suggested is 500mg of L-Ornithine in the evening and 500mg of L-Arginine in the morning to aid in neutralizing ammonia in the liver, the body and in urine. A larger quantity of these 2 amino acids may be taken, but remember to take them on an empty stomach.
Eating celery or drinking celery juice daily will help kidney function, and also electrolyte balance. Celery also works to removes excess uric acid from the blood, a further aid to kidney function.
INTESTINAL HEALTH AND AMMONIA DETOXIFICATION
As mentioned above, small amounts of ammonia are produced as a byproduct of the normal digestion of proteins, and the body is prepared to handle this quantity. However, parasites, bad bacteria, and candida yeast overgrowth in the intestinal tract, can produce more ammonia than the body is equipped to deal with, leading to a compromised immune system.
Taking probiotics (friendly bacteria) maintains healthy bacterial flora, which in turn, reduces yeast overgrowth, and lowers the pH level of the large intestine, making it far more acidic. This is a place where being acidic is good. When the large intestine has a high level of acidity, the ammonia produced by intestinal bacteria remains in an ionized form. In this form, it is easily dissipated from the body, without entering into general circulation through the blood, and burdening the kidneys, liver and brain.
This is the approach we take guys. This is what's wrong with us. This is why we sweat profusely. This is why we smell of ammonia or fish or whatever it is! Let's heal TOGETHER!!

I can agree with the stress. I have a stressful job...(RN for level 1 trauma) Moreover, stress is everyday for me. When a patient codes on me or comes in as a stroke alert, my reactions are WORSE! It definitively coincides with the bad bacteria in our bodies. I'm going to buy some garlic capsules soon.. going on vacation soon...Miami is 3 hours away so I'm blessed LOL! As far as keeping a positive attitude, I haven't lost any friends. My roomates on the other hand have been hiding in their room as soon as I come home. I can't blame them; however, they told me that they don't feel sick around me. "It's all in my head" but they throw up, sneeze, can't stop coughing and giving me the worst looks ever. I workout everyday...but when I do, I get super aroused...so I have sex more. Obviously safe sex, but it's a need for me instead of a want.
Getting more oxy powder because I bave noticed an improvement in my IBS related symptoms. I have yet to try a liver cleanse...that would be my next guess. I will get the liver cleanse from global healing center. Have a good one mindspace!
Hello to everyone again!
I have to say....living with this horrible disease is terrible. From what I've witnessed during this horrible time in our lives, I've come to a couple of theories...
1. People are allergic. Their stomachs hurt within 100 feet of us, they have IBS related symptoms like us, and their eyes hurt. Additionally, they cough and also get strep throat from us. I've had multiple people tell me that they have developed ulceractive colitis, and they do not know why. Theu are extremely dizzy around me and are short of breath. I have noticed when I'm on the phone with someone, they start developing the same symptoms as if they were directly next to me!! People look either directly at my stomach with a disgisted look....or, they look at my butt with a disgusted look. My butt is nice because i squat..so its very odd...
2. I have gotten strep 7 TIMES THIS YEAR ! 7 TIMES!!!! Lol ....when prescribed antibiotics (arithromycin, augmentin) my reactions were WORSE. Futhermore, I started to feel better. My stomach would stop its IBS symptoms and I'd be okay.
3. Eating. When I eat PROCESSED SUGAR in ANY FORM, I immediatley develop strep throat. Additionally, my body gets inflammed and I feel lethargic for the rest of the day. If I eat fruit, I'm okay. If i eat chips, im okay. If I eat a Reeses, I'm DONE LOL !
From all of this gathered, I've done it all. I've dieted for months, lost a lot of weight, but I haven't noticed any relief in symptoms. I've tried everything....saccromyces, oxy powder, garlic, turmeric, restore, etc..you name, I took it. NO RELIEF.
Has anyone been STD tested yet? I've only been HIV tested...but there is this new super gonorrhea going around. It is resistant to alot of antibiotics so I'm a bit worried. Additonally, I'm young and very good looking. I live in Orlando...so everyone is always hooking up...including myself. I'm surprised i still can have sex with the reactions still taking place LOL ! Just wondering if i might be on to something here....

I am also suffering with patm and its been two years. No medicine will work. You can do first thing is drink at least 4 glass of water as u wake up in the morning. And do pranayama , kapalbhatti for 30 mins and anulom vilom for 30 mins. This vill surely help you and with in a week u vill see the changes. And less reactions.
