Ray2502 could be on the right track!

A while ago ray2502 mentioned a peppermint gel product as a potential treatment (potentially there are no cures). I’ve tried it myself and it’s like nothing I’ve ever tried before but you still need to follow a proper diet. In the early years I’ve tried products that are extremely inflammable to the gut and my patm elevated to the extreme. I’ve often pondered why food prepared in trans-fat-laden oil is very bad for patm.

I’d guess if this treatment fades to nothing within 1-3 months time then it’s just the antibacterial effect of peppermint but if it doesn’t then potentially, we have something here.

If extreme gut inflammation is the answer then it’s suggesting this problem is just another form of IBD.

So this is my question. If someone has tried these treatment - TNF inhibitors, azathioprine (Imuran), methotrexate, or 6-mercaptopurine, please let us know. If may not be obvious if you had taken bad food when on the dose.

One of the problem with IBD drugs is that each one is meant to target a specific part of the intestine. If you take the wrong one and it might not show any significant change.

On another note, PATM gas could be nothing more than elevated pro-inflammatory cytokines that is airborne when highly concentrated within the blood.

Hello everyone,

Bottom line is we have damaged intestinal flora most likely from conventional meds and processed junk foods. This would lead to overall weakened immune system which would open up Pandora’s box for host of health problems.

It all starts in the gut.

That's only a small list. You'll have to look up every food that you eat.

Inflammatory food is all red meat, sugars of any kind including stevia, salt, dairy products, refined starch such bread or any flour-based food.

Anti-inflammatory food would be omega-3 products (salmon and most fish), prawns, shrimps, green vegetables.

I eat only fish and green vegetables now. Taking the pepper mint gel pills just gives me the edge. Do some exercise to sweat out the inflammatory compounds you’ve already accumulated in your blood.
