Adding rice cereal to bottle??

My daughter is 5 weeks old and ever since we brought her home we have been in and out of the doctors because she has been puking up almost everything in her stomach after feeding! She can fall asleep and wake up hours later after eating and just puke everywhere!! :( my poor princess wakes up crying and her doctor has switched her formula so many times I feel as though it is doing more harm than good :/ I have heard of moms adding 1tsp of rice cereal to their bottles at night and it helping immensely with acid reflux and puking/spitting up. I'm a FTM so I am unsure and iffy on what to do! I only want what's best for my princess. Have any of you mommies tried it?? I'm looking for any advice!

My son had bad acid reflux and did the same thing and wasnt gaining weight. We tried all the different formulas and rice cereal but nothing helped. I had my doc refer me to a pediatrician who put him on medication and the acid reflux stopped. I would suggest talking to ur doc about it. My baby was completely different after being put on the meds.

My son spit up alot after eating and when he wake up too. But I found out he had a little acid reflux. The doctor said because I bf too it helps reduce it. She also said don't lay them down right after they eat hold them upright and not doing alot of movement can help.

Is she burping good after feedings? Some baby's just have problems with food to start with and I would recommend giving the formulas at least a week to let her body get use to it. Is she still gaining weight like she should? I won't lie my first to boys I cave them cereal really early, it didn't help much but if you want to try it wouldn't hurt but just be careful on how much and
