Thanks. He's doing a lot better now. Still ntot at 30 oz but 28 and 26 is a ton better than 13 oz he was having.
I don't quite think he has failure to thrive, as long as he's gaining something, he is doing okay. Normally babies with failure to thrive don't gain anything or lose weight. My 7.5 month old is not even 20 pounds yet and she was born 9 pounds, so go with your instincts and don't always listen to the doctor. They read off of a growth chart anyways. Somedays babies eat more than others, especially while teething, growth spurt, etc. so I wouldn't worry too much unless his intake is extremely low and he's not having enough wet diapers a day.
