bleeding

Had baby on august 1. I bled for 4 weeks then it stopped for a week and now I've been bleeding bright red for over a week now. Thought it was ny period but I'm confused. Any already mommy's experience this?

It is normal to bleed off and on for up to 8 weeks after having a baby. This includes if you had a c-section.

I see we all had c sections minus steffimariee not sure about her. Anyway I've had the same. Currently waiting to go in for my 6 weeks post apt. I'll ask and let you ladies know.

i had all the lochia looking stuff then it stopped for a full week. started exactly one month after my c section. and now 8 days later im still bleeding brown and bright red. my doctor cancelled my 6 week appt so now i wont be able to ask him til next week -.-

Same here. Had baby girl aug. 8th, just recently thought I was done because I had stopped 3-4 days, just started bleeding again yesterday :/

I think I'm experiencing the same thing, if not something close to it. I had my son Aug. 5th. Bled for about 2 weeks, then it stopped for 2-3 days then started again. bled for 2 more weeks. The last week was a orange/brown mucus ( sorry of the TMI) my Dr. told me that was the very end of the lochia and was normal. However yesterday it went from that mucus looking stuff to looking like a full out period and still looks like a period. As with you I'm confused.
