diaper rash

My poor baby has suffered on and off with diaper rash. I've changed diaper brands and have been using Destin religiously.  Any ideas that could help?

Never underestimate the power of powder. I put powder on my son at every changing so it doesn't stay moist in there. Unscented regular cornstartch powder. Hasn't had diaper rash yet.

You could try bag balm. Some call it utter cream I think? If you go to basically any pharmacy to look for it it's in a square green tin. It's a cure all in my family lol it helps with burns, itchy skin from healin wounds or from bug bites, diaper rash..anytime my girls get raw down there I put a little on after letting their rears dry out a bit

He does poop very frequently.  Today alone we changed 19 diapers. We really don't let more than an hour pass by before we check him but sometimes by 30 min hes soiled the diaper.
He has an appointment with his ped 9/30 I will ask her about the rx if the wash clothes don't seem to help.

Does he poop frequently? My son pooped all the time and I swear he had a rash for months straight. What finally cleared it up was prescription butt paste from his doctor. My other son was really sensitive to wipes. I couldn't even use the sensitive kind on him. I had to use wash clothes instead.

Yes we call it "naked time" and change his diaper very often.

Do you have diaper free time? Sometimes just letting them air out for a little bit helps.
