weight loss

How are all of you mommy's doing losing your baby weight? My daughter will be 2 months old the end of this week and I am having trouble losing weight. I lost like 20lbs the first 2/3 weeks after she was born and now I haven't lost anymore since. I gained a total of 46lbs so I still have 26 more to go. I was just given the okay to start working out again but I just need to find the time.

@nesik: u must double check with your doctor about exercising as some of my friends also said that its better to avoid heavy exercises for atleast first 6 months.

@nesik: yes the hot water worked out for me and I am still taking it which I will carry on until I get back to normal. All my fat has gone already except my belly which I know gonna take long but the hot water will help not to put on more. U still have to control a bit on your diet. I will be honest m not dieting at all I eat everything even pizza, fried chicken etc. ;-)

That's what I thought need to wait 8-12 weeks to start exercise, my appointment was with NP not a Dr, I think she didn't really think before telling me its ok to exercise.

@nesik: if u drink hot water in the morning first thing I mean before your tea or breakfast. After having a full glass of hot water do not eat anything for 15-20 minutes, this will help to burn the fat which will pass through your urine. You can drink warm or hot water all day but its hard to get use to in the beginning. I am also very scared about doing exercise as I think that internally stitches are not healed properly. I gained 16 pds during my pregnancy and I have lost almost 11 pds already still 5 pds to go. You can add honey in hot water which will help more to lose weight. Xxx

After my c-sections (3) I've been told 12 weeks before sit ups, crunches, and planks. Less intense ab exercises are okay after 6 weeks.

@ lovi151 what do u mean u drinking hot water to not put on more weight? How does that help and how much u have to drink?  I'm 7 weeks postpartum and still need to lose 15 pounds, I had a c-section and on my postpartum check up I was told its ok to start exercise but I'm very afraid to cause I think the inside stitches r not healed yet, anybody knows when is a good time to start doing sit ups after c-section?

My daughter is 5 months old and I still have 10 pesky pounds hanging on. I gained a total of 36lbs and lost the first 20 within 4 weeks and the rest is slow going. I had a c-section and its okay for you to walk almost right away just take it slow and listen to your body.

I had c sec 5 weeks ago and have to get OK from doctor to start a bit of exercise or some house work because so far they told me to rest as much as I can and I eat a lot as I am breast feeding, I tried my trousers n jeans today and none of them fits me. M so worried but just drinking hot water so that I won't put on more.
