Need advice, I'm trying to conceive

I  was diagnosed with PCOS about three years ago and since then, it's been a nightmare dealing with the weight gain biopsies, unwanted facial hair and so on. I am now taking birth control to regulate my periods. I really would like to have another child, but was told that it is almost impossible due to the many cysts. Is there any advice that can be given that I can try that could possibly help me conceive?

do you know what form of metformin you were on?  the extended release is much easier on your system.  I am currently ttc, I had over 86 cysts and after 4 months on metformin on my last scan i had about 30!!   It's not impossible for you to get pregnant just bc of cysts, give metformin another try and like niki sayd diet can make a big difference in how your body reacts.  good luck, let me know if you need anything.

Symptoms do not last that long while on Metformin. Were you on a diet while taking it? It is known if you eat high fat content of foods it will make the side effects worst. Other then metformin, I'm not sure what else there is. Did you ease into taking it? I took 500mg 1x a day for 4 months, then I was upped to 2x a day ever since. Might want to give it another chance.

I took metformin for 30 days but I had severe diahrrea and had to stop taking it. I was hoping that maybe there was something else I can take.

Are you taking anything other then birth control? I take Metformin to help with my pcos. It helped me lose 50+lbs and so far matain a healthy menstral cycle. I would suggest to ask your doctor about metformin.
