I to did not get my period for yrs until provera. The reason your getting you cycle is cuz of the provera. You most likely are not ovulating yet. You might need clomid to help with that. When you dont take provera and you get your cycle it could mean that you did ovulate about 14 days before that. But you would have already missed it. like caza89 said you can get ovulation predictor lits to check if you are ovulating. You can also ask your dr to check your 21 day progestrine. Good luck anf I hope you do start ovulating soon.
No. Like Caza89 said. Thats what PCOS does.
The Provera is to make you start your period. The Metformin is for the effects of PCOS. It makes our brain recognize that our body is producing insulin.
I have the same problem as you are having. I have taken both of those meds and now I am on Clomid to hopefully help us get pregnant!
Are you ttc???
you can use ovulation predictor kits to be sure.
Start using it on cycle day 10 and do it at around noon everyday
Are you TTC.
You can still have periods and not ovulate-it's common in women who suffer with PCOS. It's called anovulation. This is why most of us need something to stimulate our ovaries to help us ovulate.
