TTC, want to know what Herbs/natural supplements worked for you?

I have PCOS and have been ttc. I would like to do this as naturally as possible without going to the doc. Any recommendation on what I can do to help bost the fertility. I have some Angus Castus (Spelling) and I haven't started taking it yet because I haven't heard of it's affects and I want to see what other people think before I hopen the bottle. Thanks!

I went 3 years without a period...the only way I started having one is I was put on a birth control pill (yasmin) and glucophage. I am now on metphormin and I usually have regular periods...for about the last year or so...this is the first time I've missed or even been late. My last period was on Feb 17, 2010. And it was mainly spotting for 3-4 days. I have some "Chastberry" pills but I'm not sure I am going to take them yet.

Well, I've read that a lot of women with PCOS are able to conceive naturally as long as they are having some periods and ovulate (even if it is irregularly). It's almost impossible in my case (also PCOS) because I NEVER have periods, and, therefore, never ovulate... and, of course, no ovulation, no chance of fertilization. A close friend of mine is in the same situation as me, and she's been off BCP for six years now, never gets her periods and has never gotten pregnant (she's not trying, though). So, it is possible, I guess, depending on your situation.

I've started doing acupuncture recently (doing an IVF now) and got some Chinese herbs, too, but they're so nasty, I can't take those :(  I do have a lot of faith in modern medicine! :) Best of luck to you!
