ttc with Clomid

Made my Dr. do a blood test yesterday to be 100% sure I was not already pregnant and the blood work came back negative so I started clomid this morning...Praying that it works and doesn't make me moody or sick! Best wishes and good luck to all of you expecting Mamas and Daddys this Christmas season <3

I just wanted you some encouragement by sharing my story I was told at 18 that I would never have children because I only ovulated 3 times a year as a result of taking birth control. Before I was told this another doctor told me oh if you take birth control for 6 months it will regulate your period I tried this over 4 times I wasn't trying to conceive at that time cause I was still young I just wanted normal periods. Ultimately those birth control pills patches and shots ended up causing me more pain ( yes I have tried everything on the market to get my periods regular) when I graduated high school I knew I wanted to be a mom/ house wife. I went to college and during college my now husband and me were trying only to come up short every time then my female doctor referred me to a specialist that my insurance didn't cover so we paid $500 for him to tell me I would never get pregnant my heart has literally fell through the floor and I felt so useless as a woman I started researching and I came across clomid  we went back to the specialist and brought it up to him and thankfully he prescribed me with 100 mg on my first round I got pregnant  but had miscarriage at 11 weeks for a blighted ovum but guess what that pregnancy finally regulated my period but so we tried for another year and half no luck I did another round of clomid and got pregnant again this baby was there to stay and in October of 2011 I gave birth to my daughter after a total of 7 years of going back and forth trying to have a baby  after I had her my periods went back to being regular and I am currently 9 months pregnant again through clomid . my advice is to keep your head up and research everything good luck

Yeah it has not been enjoyable at all if this month/Jan we dont get a bfp I am not doing a second round. We thought it might be rough since I am so small and my body has a history of reacting very strongly to all medications and absorbing them quicker than normal but this is awful I pretty much want to just  hide from everyone. I had to go out plowing last night and I just started bawling my eyes out cause my head hurt my back hurt I was burning hot then freezing cold gahh it was just awful. Today is my last day and I pray that I ovulate and get my bfp cause I don't think my body will handle 100mg any better

Oh girl you have it worse than I did. I had evil moments mainly just wanted to cry other than that wasn't to bad the 100 mg is where I got really emotional and dizzy and nauseous. Hopefully you only have this round

I had a few yesterday no fun but I will welcome them today it is -8 this morning!! My mood started to shift last night I wanted to scream at everyone mostly since the headaches are so so bad and just because i felt awful. Luckily my DH, brother in law and father in law are understanding so they just laugh it off and give me space to cool off! Hoping today is better but I have a feeling it's not since I have one more day on this round of clomid! Praying to Ovulate and conceive this month!!!
