Worried

I have had depression in the past- does that make me more suseptible for post natal depression?

I m very tired, i feel lonely since im a single mom, my baby is just a month.. I love my daughter but i cant help crying everyday ... I feel sad and guilty to be sad around her

Hey isa Caro ,am a single mom too.my baby is just week old.focus your energy and love on your child .the comfort will come  from there.

Yeah it does, but it's not a dead cert.  I've had several periods of depression but didn't get PND.  I did get a very,very bad case of the baby blues but that passed by 2weeks after the birth. Just try to make sure you have someone around you can rely on for emotional support (other than your husband/boyfriend who will be as sleep deprived and stressed out as you).

I had my baby 1st of December. I had Baby Blues too but it passed. I cried everyday for 2/3 weeks - no exaggeration. I was so terrified on getting PND but I didn't. So grateful. X

Thank you both- my mother said she will help a lot and let me rest and i am living with her so that will help I suppose :)) thanks for answering xxx
