Baby Dust 4...POUF!

Hi Everyone!  I'm so excited to start the 4th long post.  :)

Tonight I am having some light cramps on my right abdomen.  I bought a test (hopefully it will work) to take on the morning of Father's Day, the 15th!  :)

I am curious, I know I've read/heard a lot of ladies say, but all of you out there who are mommies or soon to be:  How did you tell your significant other about the pregnancy and upcoming parenthood and what was their reaction?

Thank you!
~Your Katebud~

omg, that *****! I'm sorry!! Did they tell you why? I'm guessing it's for the same reason they won't do them here. :( How big is your tub? Do you have like, a roman size tub? Hmm, if you want to labor at home as much as you can in the tub- I'd suggest maybe getting a midwife to stay with you and check your progress until you're ready to transport to the hospital...

mandy and other girls-well, no more waterbirth for me!!  i'm sad about it...i called labor and delivery at my hospital today to ask them some questions about it and they told me that they don't do waterbirths at all.  as a matter of fact, they don't even have tubs to labor in!!  i am so relaxed in water and really wanted to deliver this way.  i have decided (going to talk to my doctor about it tomorrow) that i am going to labor as long as i can in my own tub in my house and then go to the hospital when i think time is closer.  my question is, without someone to measure my dialation, how will i know when i am closer??

katebud-slices of bread helped my morning sickness.  i carried wonder bread slices in baggies in my purse and also ate them late at night (they say you often feel sick in the morning because your glucose level drops so you should eat something late at night or in mid of night).  i also sucked on preggie drops.

Yeah it was nice I was a little worried that it would be there, but it should be because I am 17 weeks pregnant, and people seem to love to comment on my cute bump as they call it!!

I also read that you are having morning sickness? Aww that *****, if you try those soda crackers supposedly they are supposed to help with morning sickness!
But I don't know LOL

Yay Jamie!  You heard your baby's heart!

I am gearing up for another appointment tomorrow at 1pm, to see the baby's heartbeat.  I hope it's not too early.  I am only at 6 wks and 4 days today.  I am very excited for hubby to see the baby's heartbeat also.  :)

Well hello everyone,
How are you all doing today?
Me, well not so good yesterday my kids all got stuffy/runny noses, plus dry scratchy coughes, are all congested etc, and so come bed time one of my boys was not a happy camper, so he was very upset eveyr time he coughed, so he was up until 5am tossing and turning in our bed, and whining, finally at 4-5am he went to his own bed and fell asleep until 8:30am well they both did sleep till that time.
Then I have had a itchy runny nose as well and a very sore throat, so I might have strep my doctor did swabs today so we will see!!
Plus my husband has Crohn's disease and he was diagnosed with it since last october and has been in pain and what not ever since so finally he got a thing back from work insurance that is going ot cover this needle he gets every month that will cost $3000 a shot... but luckily he has a good job with good coverage its going ot cover it for us. So hopefully we can all feel better soon.
On a more positive note had my prenatal check up today my second one, and last time they could not hear the heart beat and they said that was normal for I was only 13 weeks or something, but this time we heard it loud and clear and it was 136. So maybe I am having a boy??? lol

Your baby grabs your belly button? Lol. My son dances apparently. Everytime "Lolli Lolli" by Three Six Mafia comes on my son starts bouncing around like he's getting down to the music. haha. It's hilarious.

Why are they making you bring your own tub? That's weird. That's probably why they don't do it here any more- they told us it was a health issue because they can't possibly get all the gunk out of the drains and filters and what not.

And that's true about the stuff all over you I guess... I had always wanted to do a water birth... for some reason it kinda seemed like a more peaceful way of baby entering the world. Into the quiet water, ya know?

Are you just gonna buy one of those kiddie pool things? How the heck are you supposed to transport a huge tub?
