Is beta hcg test report 1.00 normal in female?

i am 39 years old and no baby yet. I married 2 years back. My husband already has a child from his ex wife. i am trying to get pregnant but some of my hormones are imbalanced. i have high level of prolactin  level at 46.5 and my husband is  diabetic and have sperm count below 15/ml. We both are taking medicines. can you guide me how to improve such condition. how much chances of pregnancy i have?

Beta HCG level below 5 in a woman means  "not pregnant".  So it's normal,  if you're not pregnant.  

Since you already know your prolactin levels and your husband's sperm count,  it seems you've already had testing for infertility.  Can you go further with your medical treatment,  and seek your doctor's input on your options to get pregnant?
