Does having been raped have an effect on being able to carry to full term?

I have a question regarding carrying to term after of having been raped.

When I was 18 years old, I was raped on two different occasions. The aftermath was brutal, to say the least. I am now 31 and happily married however, I can't seem to stay pregnant. I have had multiple miscarriages over the past several years. A friend of mine suggested that the physical effects from my rapes may have contributed to my inability to carry to term. Is this true? I've never heard that before but was curious if this were common with women who have been sexually assaulted.

I would ask your dr as well, it would have had to have been something pretty extensive to mess that up internally, however you could still be carrying a lot of emotions and trauma from it subconsciously, working through that can help. Our mind controls our body much more then we think

I have never heard of this. I would see a ob/gyn as to why you keep having miscarriages. Best of luck to you.
