Mirena, periods, and pregnancy
Hi ladies.
I've used these forums in the past but this is my first time posting in a really long time. I was winding if any of you ladies were pregnant after using the Mirena IUD. I had it for a year and half and loved it. I had it removed around the 29th of April and bled for about 4 days after. It been 27 days as of today and my home test came up neg.
I'm not necessarily trying right away because I wanted to have a regular cycle before I got pregnant. But I did have unprotected sex during the month.
So how long dyer removing Mirena did you get pregnant ? How long after did you ovulate? And how long after did you get a normal period again?

Second test was negative and started bleeding today. Hope you have better luck than I've been having.
I'm taking a second test tomorrow to confirm my bfp :) I had mirena removed in December, had a period about a month later, got pregnant the next cycle, sadly lost the baby in March, had my April period and my May one hasn't showed up yet. My midwife said my miscarriage probably wasn't related to having had an iud. So yeah! Good luck!
