46 Days into Cycle, spotting, no period?
Okay, so I am now on day 46 of a normal 30-40 day period. I have never gone over 43 days. I am currently breastfeeeding my 7 month old but started my periods, regularly, when she was 3 months old (just like with my other two children). I never skipped a period with either one of them.
On day 43 I woke up, had sex, went to the bathroom and wiped and there was the TINEST spot of light pink blood on the tissue, I figured I started, put a tampon in. Later I took it out, no blood anywhere on it.
On day 45, I woke up, went to go pee and there was a streak of blood, sort of bright red, went back to bed, had sex, went back to clean up afterwards figuring I would really be bleeding by then, no blood. Later that day, I spotted pink blood, just a spot again, put a tampon in, hours later took it out, no blood.
There has been no spotting or anything else since.
I took a test both on day 43 and 46 that came out negative.
This is where the catch comes in. My husband had a vasectomy in mid October that we got a sample with swimmers from in Decemeber and a sample with no swimmers last month (February). We are supposed to get on more in late April to make sure.
From what I have read, if this is implatation bleeding, would the test still be negative. Has anyone has this happen and weeks later gotten positive? The doctor (actually the nurse over the phone) said that it just sounded like I did not ovulate last month and this is why this is going on. I have never spotted before though.

Hi, I'm sorry I'm not much help but I wanted to tell you..Maybe you should take another test in a few days. If still negative, I would ask for a blood test to make sure...Hope everything goes well. Take care
