1st Ultrasound = Twins / Miscarriage scare / IVF / Beta History

To everyone who thought it was twins, well grab a cigar...no grab two, because you were RIGHT!

I'm not sure if I posted what happened to me or not, but I had a bleed which I thought was a partial or full miscarriage. My doctor suspected it could be one the twins letting go, but there was no way to be certain until the ultrasound was performed. It must have been my uterus stretching or something.

Since I had problems, they moved the ultrasound from 07-23-10 to a couple days earlier on 07-21-10. The wait was AGONY!

Baby A
measured at 6w0d
118.97 bpm (beats per minute)

Baby B
measured at 6w1d
106.26 bpm

Slow heartbeats for the age?

Hey there! First, congrats on your pregnancy!!! Second, congrats on the double blessing!!! Dont worry about the heartbeats being a little lower. As long as they are over 98 bpm everything is fine! We found out about our twins about 6 weeks ago at 6 weeks along and they also had lower heart rates (Baby A: 109  Baby B 122). I was concerned but they advised me that this was normal. They were right because im now 12 weeks along and they are both doing great! I have some pics of my u/s on my profile if you'd like to see :)  Take care of yourself and your babies and everything will be fine. Good luck!!!

Hi, new here... I wanted to know what were some of the symptoms you had to think you were carrying twins.   Oh and congratulations!

I had twins when I was 24 (they are 17 now), but can't remember what I felt with them.
