40 and first pregnancy

My husband and I have had sex.a few times and I'm 8 weeks along and when done notice there is spottin, is this normal?

I only had spotting with my miscarriages, but my step mom had it with my youngest brother and the Dr. told her to take it easy and rest, he's 24 now. It's best to get your Dr.'s opinion and make sure it's only a bruised cervix and nothing to worry about.  I'm 42 and this is my 4th and last, I misscaried last June of 2012 and 5mos later I was pregnant again, the baby's a boy and he's gonna probably be big, he already weighs about 6# and I have a month to go. I have 3 older kids aged 24, 20& 14.

Yes spotting is normal unless there is a lot of blood, bright red and has clots along with bad cramping.

Yes your cervix is very sensitive. It's normal.
