5 week ultrasound

Question

I went for an ultrasound yesterday thinking I was 6 weeks and they dated me at 5 weeks 3 days. They found a gestational sac and a yolk sac but said it was too early to see a fetal pole or heartbeat. they said come back in a week. Would that this seem right?

I had same thing happen,  I went for u/s last week when I thought I was 6 wk 5 days and they only saw sac, I am scheduled to go back tomorrow.  Any ladies go back after being told no fetal pole/heart beat get great news of baby being there a wk or 2 later?

Accorcing to my LMP I should've been 5w5d when I had my first ultrasound and they saw the sac and yolk but no heartbeat. So Iam scheduled again next week. It sounds like it is just to early. Dont stress about it think positive! :)

I too went to the Dr. yesterday according to my LMP i was 6 weeks pregnant once they did the US it showed that i was 5 weeks I onle saw the sac but no hb i have to go back next week to repeat the US

i had my first U/S at 9 weeks (the doctor would not see me earlier). there was a heartbeat but measured at 8 weeks. they said, no cause for concern. the next U/S i got at 11 weeks, it measured right on. good luck

I had my first u/s today.  There was a sac with something in it and it's measurement suggested 6 wks, 1 day.  There was no visible hb, but my RE wasn't concerned; nor was my ND.  I'm scheduled for a repeat u/s next week.

I was told the same thing - if they don't see one at a 6 wk u/s, it might be too early, so they schedule one for a week later.  My first u/s (6 wks, 2dys LMP) is in an hour and a half!

I went for my first ultrasound with Gavin at 5w6d and my RE told me not to get upset if they didn't see a hb.  I went back it one week at 6w7d and I had a hb.  I week can make a huge difference.
