Well, there are alot of reasons you may not be pregnant yet. Even under ideal circumstances it can take awhile. I have to say though, it sounds like your hormones may be a little of of whack. If your cycles have changed that dramatically, you should probably see your Dr. He or she may need to run a few tests and there are often things that can be done to regulate you again. When your cycles are irregular it's really difficult to pinpoint ovulation, then difficult for implantation to take place.
You mentioned that you had your period 22 days apart last month (if I read your post correctly). I can tell you that after one of my miscarriages my cycles changed from 28 days (like clockwork) to 25 and stayed that way. If that turns out to be the case, it could be you are ovulating on cycle day 8 or so and missing your ovulation. I would still consult your Dr. You may need a little extra help getting things back to normal.
