She said that she really didn't know what everything meant on the report being that she was only a female nurse practioner, so she made me an appointment with a ob/gyn doctor. Now I'm still waiting for more results. The ultrasound tech didn't tell me anything and she claims that she couldn't read the results so I'm still waiting. I went ahead and made my own appointment with a gynecologist three hours away. I don't even want to be bothered with them at that office ever again.
so did you have your appointment today? what did your dr say?
Thanks so much. I'll check the little flicker out next time.
Keep us posted.
In early preg, the hb is just a teeny tiny flicker.
To be honest with you I couldn't really tell if it had a shape or not. You know how ultrasounds tend to look dark on the screen but if you see anything out of the ordinary, it sorta stand out from the rest of the things on the screen. That pulsating just happened to catch my attention on all three scans. Almost was like a blinking light or something. It's been 23 years since I had a baby so I can't remember what the heartbeat suppose to look like..
Wow, what did the "pulsating thing" look like? Did it have a shape? You think they'd tell you if it was a baby...
Good luck to you.
Thanks for the input. I appreciate your opinion.
With a negative blood test last week, I would say that you are not pregnant.
I am suppose to be seeing the doctor on Thursday. The lady that was doing the ultrasound wasn't very talkative at all. After everything was done, I asked her whether or not the scan indicate pregnancy and she said that my doctor will be in touch with me. The results won't be in for a couple days or so. The waiting game just drives me crazy. From all of the research I do on the internet, that pulsating figure on the screen to me just seem as though it was in fact a heartbeat. I'll just keep taking one day at a time I guess. If there's a baby in there, it eventually have to come forth right?
on the trans vag, when i saw the heartbeat i saw the gestational sac, a yolk sac, a bean of a fetus, with a dark flicker inside the fetus.
if the whole image you saw was pulsating i have no idea.
also, if they see a hb, they tend to let you hear it as well.
when will the dr. call you?
