A normal gestation sac and a pseudo Sac?

I went in for an U/S today to date my pregnancy since I have no idea when my last period was. The Tech said  I'm 5 wks 1 day.  When she first started the U/S we def. saw 2 sacs. but as she got to looking she said one of them is a pseudo-gestational sac. And that  the other looks fine. I've never heard this term and am way confused now. everything I find on this relates it to etopic pregnancy. Could I have an etopic pregnancy and a reg pregnancy at the same time? we were really thinking this time it was twins. and Im a little disappointed. looking at it to me they look exactly the same. the pseudo sac had more of a oval shape to it though. Has anyone heard of this.? Is it possible that this pseudo sac could also be a viable baby and that its just to early?  By the way she said it will be about 10 more days before we see a fetal pole and heartbeat on the sac that is normal.

I'm waiting for an hCG test right now, as a follow up to receiving two days ago the same U/S results you received.  The tech. said she saw a "double gestattion", but that one looked like a psuedo sac.  One of the clinic staff said my initial hCG levels were low, but acc'g to the APA, they are in a normal range.

Did you have twins?
