Milly be strong. I'll be praying for toy and your family. Try to get on some of the free mom swap/give stores to cut costs where you can. Also you might want to start a go fund me to solicit help paying your bills. Post on here once you do it and see if you can get any help. Good luck hun!
I'm really upset that this is not free for me at all. The insurance I have doesn't cover that much at all. So far I got medical bills over $500 for just the first two ultrasounds and labs done that I have to pay from my pocket. I'm just 17 weeks already and My husband is unemployed at the moment. I feel like not wanted to do anymore testing or pregnancy check ups. I feel so stress already just by having more debts and not able to pay them.
Missy that is great. I am an advocate for people with disabilities especially IDD. So I'm not necessarily worried about the results except the gender. I so want to start shopping and so does the hubby. After 2 mcs and now the wonderful "miserable" pregnancy symptoms, we are pretty optimistic about this pregnancy!
I had the Panorama test done. Yez, it will tell you the gender! Mine was covered by my insurance because my last child was born with the blessing of Down syndrome. :)
Thanks for sharing everyone! My insurance covers it because of my age. Glad to hear the stories. I'm definitely going to have it done at my next visit in 4 weeks. My doc said the panorama will tell me the gender too. Is that not the case?
I had it done yesterday. Not a big deal. They drew 5 vials of blood. Took 3 min. My insurance covers it completely.
Insurance should cover the Panorama rest due to your age (over 35). I had it done and it was no big deal. They just do a blood draw, and it tests for all kinds of genetic issues, like Down Syndrome. Definitely worth it if you can get it covered by insurance. Otherwise it is $2,000.
We were offered materniT-21 instead and it was definitely not free but it was worth it to get the information. Plus getting the gender back at 10w with 99.9% accuracy is a cool bonus once they said baby is normal.
I had it done about two weeks ago. They even swabbed my husband for his DNA.I'm so glad for the peace of mind. but the wait had me wondering.
I had the panorama testing done & had a great experience. The worst part was having 5 viles of blood drawn in one sitting. I have a great piece of mind knowing my baby is healthy.
