Anyone in a warm climate want a house guest?

Nothing to do with pregnancy, just a rant.  I HATE WINTER.  I know, I have lived in Canada my whole life and should be used to this...but it's -27 today.  Add to that the wind chill factor and it's darned cold.  Not sure what that translates into for farenheit, just bone chilling cold.  Honestly, someone somewhere made a mistake when I was born into a cold climate.  So, if anyone in a warm climate wants a house guest for the winter...I'm tidy and don't need much space.....anyone?  lol  please......lol

Well- the other day here it was 16 plus 40 mile per hour winds- luckily we dodged the HUGE snowstorm ...
Some of the best things to do in winter I really cant do- play ice hockey- ice skate- sled/snowboard ...

BUT I can snuggle, bake/cook- and been doing a lotta knitting and crocheting!!! BRRRRRRRRRrrrRRRR! AND have been using THIS time to get ready for baby- even though I am due in the spring- since I also have a history of bedrest/premature labor/early birth ...

Man I wish we were all neighbors and lived on Wisteria Lane!!! That way we could all be Desperate Housewives and have tea parties everyday!!! (but I do not like tea!)

Sue,  please,  come see me!  I get lonely here without family,  so it would be great to have you guys here,  you are just as good as family!!  OH how happy we would all be if we could all meet up for coffee and have play dates, and help each other out with babysitting!  it would be awesome!!

Yay...group snuggles!!!!  And honestly, like I said, whoever had me born in a cold climate made an error somewhere...got me confused with someone else or something!  I tell you, if I was American and had all those warm places to choose from I would be living in Hawaii or Florida...SoCal or anywhere south. Look out Tator and  Rachel, I think I am coming to live with you forever!!! lol.  And Quinns Momma, 8 degrees actually sounds balmy compared to here right now.  I am probably going straight to hell for saying this but......."GO GLOBAL WARMING"...lol, just kidding...sort of...ha!

Would love you to stay with me since our babies are due so close to one another and can be instant playmates. However in the windy city of Chicago it is only 8 degrees F today... Brrrr...  We did not get too much snow but the black ice is just awful on the roads...

he would be a US citizen-  don't know your rules on that-  my best friend is canadian.  she went back to canada druing her first pregnancy because her grandma died.  the us wouldn't let her back in because she had applied for us citizenship, and there is some rule about not leaving the country for so many days-  she went on an interview with like katie curric (sp?) and stuff, and she finally got back in right before her daughter was born.  it was a mess!  

Just bring warren with you...

I say we all go live at Sally's for a few months.  The Phillipines would be pretty cool..and I bet there are great beaches!!  Ok, so here's the plan....I finish work end of next week.  Leaving the next day for Rachels for some quality Cruz snuggle time. Then off to Tator's so I can have a little girl around for a bit...will she let me do her hair and dress her up in cute outfits?  Happy to cook, but I really only know a couple of recipes, so I hope you don't mind there might not be a lot of variety....  I am so happy I'm having a healthy baby, but it would be so fun to have a girl too.  I love all the little girl outfits!  Everytime I shop for baby clothes I am just itching to buy some little girl things.  Then off to Pamela's for some hot chocolate and fireplace!  I don't have a fireplace.  And I am just going to keep going until I wear out my welcome!  I am so excited....lol.  One challenge...if my little boy is born in the US, will he still be able to come back to Canada to live with me?  Warren might miss him otherwise...lol.

amanda/rach,  please remember-  cruz is a boy and soon enough he will be mobile,  which means no good snuggling for a few years!!  Taylor really is in a good snuggle pattern....  ok... FINE...  I'll make dinner every night,  and you don't have to drive my kids around.  geez... rachael is hard to compete with!!!

Anyone willing to take me too, lol! Im in Minnesota and its not that cold yet. But we just got our furnace fixed. It has been out since August so no central air during the end of summer and no heat up untill maybe a week ago. UGH! I hate the cold! I am a freeze baby. When I get older and DH retires I wanna move some place warm:-) We are due for a snow storm later today and tomorrow. I could do without all the snow unless its Christmas day. Too bad snow=money in our house. I dont know if I should pray that it snows or pray that it doesnt, lol

I feel bad- I can't offer Amanda a warm place to go.  It's cold and snowing here now. Heck- my kids don't even snuggle anymore- I have nothing at all to offer.

Oh,  you don't have to clean-  just taking the kids to school and dinner only 4 nights a week-  I'll cook the other 3 to give you a break, and I'll do the cleaning!  but Rachael was offering just snuggling...  so I might have lost out on that one!  :)  how about I reduce the cooking to 2 nights a week,  and Taylor is AWESOME at snuggling...  Colt, not so much,  he gets restless...

You are all the best!!!  I know if I stay too long at one place I could overstay my welcome.  So I am charting everything out on a map and buying plane tix tomorrow.  I am out of here!!!  Sigh...if only it was that easy.  Warren sure likes the idea as well.  And yep Tator, I will cook, clean and chauffeur...if I can fit behind the steering wheel...lol.  I cannot tell you how tempting it is to get on any plane pointed south right now.  I would say this weather is for the birds, but even the birds are smarter then that...they head south!  

Pum, your in NZ right?  One of my co-workers is headed off on monday for NZ and Australia...backpacking for a month. Oh to be 25 again and able to do that.  She is going to have such a wonderful time!!

I hate the winter too.  Their calling for 10 inches of snow here in Illinois starting tomorrow through Wed.  Ugh!!  Good thing I'm not working - I can just chill out at home and watch it come down.

Well summer is just starting here so it's around 20 deg C (not sure of that in F) so maybe you could migrate like a bird. You might find it odd having Christmas in the middle of summer. I mean, I find it odd and I've never had it any other way.
All the movies, Christmas cards, songs etc. are all snowy still. Weird.
