medications 5 weeks pregnant
I am 5 weeks pregnant and have fibromyaglia and yesterday i got rearended. Wrentched my neck. I have a pain specialist and my ob knows. I take 1a day. 2 at the most. What do you know about this med and early pregnanacy?
From what I have read its obviously better to NOT take it if possible... I assume you are referring to a hydrocodone? However, you do not want to be in pain either so the dose should be kept as low as possible. You are in a very delicate stage, the first trimester with baby's development. And the doctors will monitor you closely while using any narcotic. Many babies are more now with addiction issues so if these medications are used many women are asking to slowly stop in the 3rd trimester to ensure baby is not born with withdraws.
