BFN so Far

I'm a little bummed out.  It's 3:30 am and I woke up, wide awake. So no time like the present to POAS.  And its BFN.  Now I know I got LH surge on Day 14, and today is Day 22, so I am probably only 8 DPO at most. It may be too early.  But those First Response are sooo sensitive. They can pick HCG up at crazy low levels, and I have had a BFP at this point before.  I am just thinking not this month. Its funny, DH and I were talking about it last night before bed, and due to the mix up with my OPK positives coming twice, he is absolutely convinced we must have conceived.  He said that we BD'ed every day for 7 nights, and that "that's good stuff"...lol.  I know, a bit TMI, but he say's the funniest things sometimes when he is trying to be supportive..lol.  Anyway, I shall test again on Friday or Saturday.  DH has made a reservation at a really nice restaurant Sat. night for our anniversary (its actually tuesday, but easier to go out on the sat.)  Either we will have something extra to celebrate, or it will cheer me up!!  Thanks for all the notes and well wishes, but I am thinking its on to the next cycle!!!  I refuse to be defeated!!!!

It may be way too early for your BFP, just don't give up hope, it can still happen, every cycle and every pregnancy is different.

Wait until Saturday to test and I bet you will see a BFP!

Keep your chin up either way.

Hugs,
Debbie

Hi Amanda,
I think it might be a little early to test.  Just wait a few more days!

You have a clean bill of health. You can conceive naturally.  You have had some bad luck.  But I think you WILL have success this next year.

You are all the absolute sweetest.  Thanks for the kind messages, notes and posts. I appreciate it, and I'm going to stay positive until AF shows her ugly face (which hopefully she won't...lol).

Hugs to you all...Amanda

Hang in there.  Spreading the good baby vibes.  Again, the newcomer needs educating- what does BFP stand for?  In context, I'm guessing it means a postive pregnancy test, but...

Thanks all.  I guess because I have had a BFP 1 week before AF before, I just assumed it would happen again.  And those FR are soooo super sensitive now.  But I guess I have to take into account that before clomid I was getting LH surge day 11, so probably oing day 12 or 13.  Now I get LH surge day 14, so probably oing day 15 or 16.  And I did a bunch of reading this morning and quite often even a blood test won't pick up this early, so I guess I am still in the game.  I know I get ridiculously impatient and obsessive about this, and I appreciate you all being so supportive.  It means a lot.  I put on a happy face most of the time, but I want this so badly its hard to face that negative every month.  So I have my "wallow in self pity" moment and move on.  You are all the best though!!!

I think you tested just a tad too early. The earliest I got a + was 10dpo and that was when I had my second IUI, so I pretty much new right on when conception occurred.

My anniversary is Tuesday, too!  We are going out that night but early.  Happy Anniversary!

Good morning!  Don't be bummed!  It may still be too early!  If not, just try try again!  You have a really healthy and positive attitude and outlook, and that is really very important!  Don't despair, and don't give up the challenge...because it will happen for you,  and NO ONE deserves it more than you!!  XO  Pam

Hi Amanda,
Don'T give up hope yet.  My RE and Re nurses told me that every months cycle is different no matter what you have experienced in the past.  You can not judge each cycle by the last.
Have you had any symptoms yet?

I am sorry to hear that you have had such a struggle.  I don't know if you know my full story, but I wasn't trying very hard to get pregnant when I conceived my DD at 40 - gave birth at 41.   I think its what you call beginners luck, I think It was because I was just clueless which also means stressless.  We just happened to have a healthy egg on our first try.  Now that I have had 2 m/c  I know too much.
Try and relax.  We are all here for you if you need support.
