39 weeks and 1 day

I still have 6 more days till my due date and I'm onlt 1 cm dialated and haven't lost my mucus plug today. I'm so uncomfortable but my doc won't induce me yet :-( any suggestions? I'm having extremely bad lower back pains n no contractions :'(

I would try walking alot, I heard this helps you dilate. Also since you're close to your due date sex helps you dilate and the semen can cause contractions.

Im 39 weeks today 7 more days i hope but no baby or ni sing of labor ewwwww....

Thanks I am very ready. What is the chances of dr inducing you at 40 weeks if hee still hasn't come?

I know yoru ready to get things moving.  The reality is there is nothing you can really do to speed things up.  Labor is a product of hormones, and without medical intervention, baby will usually not come until he/she is good and ready.  You are so close now.  Hang in there, and it will happen before you know it.  Your body has already begun the process, it won't be long now.  All the best to you.
