Can we all just say a prayer for Amanda's baby?

I believe in the power of prayer.  Amanda is having some spotting and our prayers can't hurt so take a quick minute and put all your force into a quick prayer for them.

Thinking of you *hugs*. You are very wise and know what is best for you during these worrying weeks. Hunker down. You deserve to cherish this time with your body knowing what it's doing.

Take care.

I just saw this post now and said a prayer for you.  Then I scrolled down and saw what you think the bleeding was related to.  I had the same thing during my pregnancy.  Kind of embarassing to figure that out but a relief, too.  Best of luck throughout your pregnancy.  Enjoy your break.   My dh always tells me to get off the forum when I start stressing too much about things..there's just too much information on here not to let some of it scare you!

Absolutely! A break is much needed sometimes and I find myself doing the same from time to time.  Hang in there and will be thinking of you.

Thanks again ladies.  You always are so incredible. I am taking a bit of a break, although I will check in from time to time. I should be honest as to why.  I am trying really really hard to stay positive and not stress to much.  So sometimes staying away from struggle and sadness is a good thing as I start to channel it onto myself.  I have no idea if that made sense, but I know what I am trying to say.  When someone else has a loss I feel so deeply for them, and that's not healthy for me until I get passed the "threatened miscarriage" stage.  I hope you understand.  It's just temporary while I focus all my energy on the child I have and staying emotionally healthy.  I will see you soon though, and SSBD to all of you!!

I see you are taking a bit of a break... sometimes it's just necessary, isnt it?

I had spotting at the  beginning of my pregnancy, and everything was just fine.  It's scary as HECK, but from what i have researched and what i was told from all the lovely ladies on here, it's pretty normal at the beginning.  One note - are you Rh negative?  I ask because i am Rh negative and i had to go in for a WinRho shot because of the spotting - just as a precaution.  Definitely mention it to your doc!

Take care and hang in there,

g

Just read the information, and OMG I'm so thankful this has stopped for you.   You are right...I've read your advice many many many MANY times and its all wonderful advice....most of the times this IS completely normal.    Unfortunately it can't help but cause unnecessary worry and panic though to mommy.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.     Keep us all posted.

The straining happen to me too with both my boys! I would have a little spotting after a few bowel movements (are attempts) as well!

You may want to talk to your OB about stool softeners!  Glad to hear all is well though!

I think I may have sorted out what is going on.  This is a bit of tmi, but....it only seems to happen when I ..ummm...strain.  You know what I mean...a bit of constipation.  It is only a tiny bit and seems to be around that time.  So I bet it's just a bit of cervix irritation.  Feeling more positive.  Thanks again.  I love you ladies..you are the best!!

Amanda,
I bled through 16 weeks and I know how hard these bleeding / spotting episodes can be.  I hope that all is well with you and your little one.

glad its stoped again... My daughter did that 3x during her pregnancy with one of the 'bleeds' ending us in the hosp.  All was well so hopfully if she does it (get prego) again, we wont be quite so scarred.  Prayers went out though for you, and yep,you can just leave it in His hands at this point..

You ladies are the best and I am so grateful for you.  It seems to have stopped.  I had a little yesterday, and some this morning, nothing since.  I hope it was just one of those "things" and stops for good.  I know this is really common (as I often tell others on here) and most of the time everything works out fine.

Thanks for the prayers and good wishes, it means a lot to me, more then you can ever know.
