Drop in Progesterone
I am 7w and 5d ... I just had bloods tested.. this is a second round of bloods. At 5w 6 my progesterone was 51, hcg was 12,000, now they are 37 progesterone and 74,000 hcg... I am worried about the progesterone, anyone have any idea why it would drop?

Progesterone is way different then HCG levels. It goes up and down all the time. 37 is still a really great number, so I don't think it signifies any problem or anything. It just does that...just one more thing to worry us..lol. But honestly, a good solid number. Hey, 1/2 way through the first trimester!! Looking good girlfriend!
Thanks A, You always make me feel less stressed. I kinda did break down in the doctors office over this. But my doc never said anything about the progesterone fluctuating. She goes this is why I didn't want to give you those tests as they will stress you out, but you wanted them. Ugh. I didn't say anything to my hubby about the results, cause I don't want him to have the worry. Once again thanks for the great advice xxxx.
Oops ya 1/2 through 1st trimester! I have a scan in 2 weeks looking forward to that. I have promised myself not to do any more blood tests. As the doc said that here in Aust they dont' do much to prevent miscarriage in first trimester :/
