That's true. I had my baby a week and four days ago. They induced me but his heart rate started dropping so they did an emergency c-section. In my ultrasound they said he was 6 pounds and 3 ounces but when he was born he was 5 pounds 1 ounce. Thank god he came out fully developed and healthy

That's really selfish actually. Non-medical inductions have a higher chance for c-section as well as more risk for the baby including but not limited to not receiving the proper anti-bodies from you at birth and not being fully developed. The baby's brain and lungs are still developing until birth which is why some babies take longer to get here. Along with that due dates even with an uktrasound and accurate period dates can be wrong by up to 2wks because the human body works on it's own timeline. If you're induced there's no telling what the actual gestational age of that baby was and you could have some medical issues that come along with it.
