Flying at 35 weeks?

Can this be done? I want to give birth back home, which is a 4 hour flight from where I live now. I have read that airlines have the 36 week policy for a "no complications" pregnancy but in reality what would I be getting myself into if I tried to pull off that stunt having an enormous belly?

You should ask your doctor because my doctor told me no traveling AT ALL via any form of transportation at 34wks and beyond.

I've read recently that some airlines have removed the restrictions...if check first with your provider and then with a go ahead from then, I'd check with the individual airlines to see what the real restrictions are...and if there's any extra steps you need to go through.
