Got my AF after m/c

Woohoo !  Got my AF 41 days after m/c - now can ttc !
I didn't get a chance to have a follow up with the doctor after the m/c - just wondering : the hcg levels have to drop to zero to get AF - right ? I had taken a hpt on the July 19th and it was faintly positive. Been thinking of dipping into my hpt 'stash' to check again or is that a waste ? ( Its a buck anyway :D ).  Anyway, relieved to see AF this time !

congratulations on being able to move on!  I had a m/c in March of this year, and was chomping at the bit to get AF and move on to TTC again.  I jumped for joy on April 5th when AF showed up (literally, I jumped for joy!)  I think you can't get AF with any hcg, so you are good.  Just get those OPKs and get ready!  I hope you are lucky and get a bfp with your next try!  If it makes you feel relieved, I had a m/c in March, got my AF in April and was pregnant by May and due this January.  Best of luck to you!!!!

I'm jealous :). Hoping AF will visit soon but levels are still at 5100 as of last blood draw! I really want to try again right away. I hear that it's easier to get pregnant after you have been pregnant. GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!!

Isn't strange how the one thing we hate every month we celebrate after a miscarriage. I would agree that your levels are back to zero. I am really glad that you will be able to ttc real soon!!!!!

Go get 'em girl!

Thanks udbe2,

I did a search and read that can't have AF until hcg are gone - so I'll save my hpt's for the 'real deal' next time. I bought 3 last time - one to check for negative after the m/c and 2 for pg next time.  Thanks again for your response :)

Congrats on AF finally.  My levels were definitely down to zero when AF arrived after m/c.   Time to have fun, BD and GL.
