Help! Water just broke :(

27 weeks with a boy,  had my normal routine check yesterday all was perfectly healthy. He weight ahead and over 1kg already. But this morning 3hours ago my water just broke :( gushes and gushes. I'm in hospital now but don't know what to expect. Dr says will do injections soon and hopefully he holds out a few more weeks. Dr says there is an 80% chance of labour in the next 48 hours.  Please pray I hope not. I hope my boy is strong and will be a fighter.  Any hope for us?  Any inspirational stories similar please?

Since your water broke, then you will be having that baby within the next 48 hours.
The shot the Dr gave you probably was to help his lungs.

Update: started getting heavy contractions from 6pm last night,  hot heavier by 12 midnight on new years. They tried their best to stop the contractions. By 3am nurse checked and said I am 9cm dilated!!! So we rushed and called Dr to come in,  he was here in about 15mins, the nurses still wanted to prep me for a cesarean,  but my Dr felt and said it's too late for that cause can already feel his head and I'm completely dilated. So they quickly prepped me,  wasn't time for any pain stuff at all. I had to give my first push at about 4am, Dr then gave me a quick injection or two down there and I could feel him cut,  although it was numb down there from the injections. I gave another two pushes and his head was out,  controlled my breathing as I was struggling a bit in the beginning was all over the place and I never expected myself to ever come in a situation where I had to endure labour pains and go naturally instead of my preferred cesarean.  So once his head was out I gave another big push or two and he was out!  Miracle tiny angel cried immediately which was a good indication for us being so premature that he has fighter lungs and hopefully the steriod injections helped a bit. I couldn't see him really they immediately had to take him to nicu to prep him on all the machines for safety.  He was born 4:15am on new years.  Was only due 17 March,  so he is quite premature,  but the pediatrician is satisfied so far with his progress,  his blood pressure,  heart rate and all. His on a ventilator for now and we need to get his weight up. He weighs 1.1kg, and is about 37-38cm. So such a tiny miracle. Please pray for his fighting battle,  the Dr said it's not going to be easy,  there will be good times and bad times but we will get through it. Now it's up to little one and God to fight the fight. We not allowed to touch him,  we can look through the Lil wrapped box and everything tied to him. I'm praying that he gets stronger quickly and picks up Weight quick. I think we only allowed to hold or touch him once he reaches 1.8kg. Bless this child and everyone else. P. S- I AM SO GLA,  that I did a normal delivery and not cesarean in the end,  it did go past relatively quick and I'm sure the healing process is faster too I hope. I can get up and walk around and go see him etc. So that's a good sign
