Help please

Sorry I am new to the group and don't know where to post, I have a baby girl who is now 3 months old, when I was in labour I had 2 pethadine injections and the injection to help deliver the placenta all in my left leg. Ever since the day of my labour my leg hurts to touch and it feels warm and it feels almost numb if I touch it lightly, I have had bloods for blood clots and they came back fine. So I know it isn't a blood clot. Could anybody help me or direct me to the right place to ask Thankyou in advance

I'm sure you've asked your doctor, but it sounds like an infection of some sort, or maybe they hit a nerve when they inserted the needle. Have you done a search for pethadine reactions?
I'm sorry, what did your doc say besides you not having clots?

Hi thanks for your reply, I also suffer from anxiety, so I was seeing my doctor for that really but I mention this problem with my leg, she sent me to the hospital and as I said bloods came back fine... And I heard nothing else of it. I have a doctors appoitment tomorrow morning so I will ask then. I will have a look at pethadine reactions :) Thankyou x

I had that with my first baby. They hit a nerve and my leg felt numb for a year after! It's a horrible sensation. Please don't worry :-)

Thankyou for your reply. I hope it disappears! Every now and again it goes all tingly! It's not very nice. Hopefully it won't be forever.
