High FSH and thin uterus

I have a double-whammy question.
I have two children, the first was born when I was 37 and the second when I was 39.  I am now 43 and in an early menopause.
When tested, September 2010, my FSH was 93.  At that point I was told I could no longer conceive.
This did not concern me greatly as I happily saw my two healthy children as my whole family and had not expected more.  Also I had problems healing from my C'Sections and was originally diagnosed with a thin (2mm) uterus during my second c' section.

However, to put a spanner in the works, I am now pregnant, 7 weeks.  The ultrasound showed a healthy normal heartbeat, yet 'shadowing' in the uterus indicating either Fibroids or scar tissue (the latter making more sense).

I'm in a panic for several reasons:
My uterus is very thin - what are the implications of this?  I'm told an early C'section will be performed at 37 weeks.  Are there statistics for the indication of miscarriage?
I'm 43 - I'm nervous about birth defects from either the lack of quality in my egg and/or the extreme levels of FSH.
How is it possible to get pregnant with a FSH level of 93?  What on earth happened?

Does anyone know of anyone else who has a similar story that resulted in a happy ending???????

Congratulations! That is such exciting news. Your FSH number shouldn't worry you if you are pregnant, it is more an indicator of getting pregnant. It indicates low ovarian reserve. All it takes is one good egg and you seem to have gotten it! As for the other risks, problems are still very rare but do happen. There have been alot of women on here over 40 that have had healthy successful pregnancies! take care of yourself and congrats again!

Congrats on the pregnancy at 43 and being it was natural, is certainly wonderful. I do not have much encouragment except it is well known that more advanced age and 'old eggs' tends toreally increase the risk of down syndrome. I would think youre going to get your ultra sounds and perhaps and amnio or CVS test done? That will definitely let you know if your fetus is healthy. Also, a 2mm lining of your uterus.. that is also amazing as I think the lining should be between 7,, and 10mm. One would think you have beat the odds so far but I still believe you may be at risk of miscarrying- what does your OB think of this? I would love to hear about your progress- please keep us informed.
