High HCG number indicative of multiples?

I am 40 years old and this is my 6th pregnancy.  At 4 weeks, my HCG was 1335. At 5 weeks, my level was 23,206!  All things considered,  does this indicate a higher mulriple probability?

That's actually not as high as you may think.   However,  in general,  unusually high hcg levels can be indicative of multiple preg,  ectopic pregnancy, or you may have simply ovulated a few days early.  Remember,  hcg doubles every 2-3 days.  So ovulating 3 days early makes a big difference.

But now I'm curious lol.  If you don't mind,  after you have an ultrasound,  let us know what they find.  Good luck!

I don't know if your hgc levels indicate multiples but I do know your chances increase greatly with age. So that it's self could be a possibility! But your hgc levels do sound high, what did your doctor say?
