Low HCG in First Trimester

Hello to all.  I am 38 years old, no children, 1 failed ivf, several failed iuis.  hey said it could not be done onmy own but
I am pregnant!  I did exactly this: I prayed, I took the 81 mg aspirin every day and fertility blend and geritol.  I started in Jan 0f 2010.  I fell preggers in March.  I missed my April period.  I checked and the test was positive.  Ther fertility clinic can't believe it.  I got my HCG and pregogesterone chkd and it was great the first two times.  They told me to come back on May 5th for u/s.  But I insisted on being seen every week until u/s.  So last week my hcg did not double.  It went up but did not double.  Actually counting today, this has now happened twice.  Does this mean something bad.  the numbers were:
4/16-274
4/18 560
4/23-1559
4/25 - 1951 today  Are these numbers really bad?

HCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours. That usually corresponds to HCG levels below 1200 IU. From 1200-6000, the HCG usually takes 72-96 hours to double. Above 6000 IU, the hCG often takes over four days to double. So, the rate of increase in HCG levels normally varies as a pregnancy progresses. Normal HCG values vary up to 20 times between different pregnancies, however, and an HCG that does not double every two to three days does not necessarily indicate a problem with the pregnancy. Some normal pregnancies will have quite low levels of HCG, and result in perfect babies.
