You know, I had an interesting conversation with an OB about the whole issue of HCG levels when I was pregnant. She said that they used to put an awful lot of stock into doubling times, etc. But now that they have such early ultrasound, they have found that numbers increasing is what they are looking for and that not as many OB's put as much into the actual doubling time. The correlation between slow rising levels and miscarriage is not as strong as once thought. Up is good, down isn't..much simpler that way isn't it..lol. Hope your doing great and look forward to hearing about that u/s.
Congrats!! I think you are just fine. They want to see a minimum of a 60% rise over 48 hours, although a slower rise doesn't necessarily mean anything bad. Also if your tests were at different times of day, that can make a difference. Don't read too much into beta numbers -- the important thing is that they are rising!
Yay!!!!! Congrats and your numbers look just fine to me! Mine weren't doubling either. In fact I can remember one draw where the doubling time came in at a crazy high amount of time..every 80 hours or something like that. And you know how well that all ended for me. I am so excited for you and can't wait to hear the great news about your sono!!
Well Thank you. I know have to wait until thurday for sono. What a long week it will be.
Perhaps I would start to worry if it hasn't reached that number in another 24 hours...but I really think that you are great!
Don't you think the last beta should be around 962 ? I am kinda worried that it is not enough. I will have to wait until thursday to see how it goes.
Yup up to 72 so I think your doing great!!!!! and as your number gets bigger it takes longer to double, congrats!!!
ENJOY! Looks like your embie(s) and getting comfy!
