Bad news - lost baby

Just had 9 week scan.  Doctor ordered it because of low hcg.  Baby died a couple days ago.  I am devastated.  Had scan at 7 weeks and all was fine but obviously things have not progressed properly.  i am 42 and this was my last try.  i could try again, but cannot put myself through this again.  So sad.  I wish everyone better luck!

I'm really sorry this is happening to you, I know how hard it can be.  Maybe you will try again after you heal from this.  I had 4 miscarriages and was very determined and wasn't going to give up, now I'm 26 weeks pregnant and will be 41 at delivery.

i'm sorry too. my friend stop trying to at 39 after 3 m/c, but last week had a boy at 42. so you just never know. but either way you decide, looks like you'll have plenty of support.
