Pack n Play?

Anyone using this product in place of a crib?

We are because we barely used the crib with baby #1 and not even once with baby #2. I like the one with the portable bassinet so it's easier to move around too.

I am but only so he can sleep in our room until he sleeps through the night

I am for space issues. 2 bedroom older house and no room for a crib until we can make the third floor a living space for my older daughter. Her current room is too tiny for a bed and a crib.  My room can'tfit one eeither but a pack in play makes it

I am only because my husband is military and we are moving a few weeks after our son is born..makes traveling easier

I used one for my first son worked great... n as he got older it was still useful :)

I have known people who did use a pack n play instead of a crib for different reasons, money, or space.  My only suggestion is to invest in the quilted pad and sheets so it is more easily washable.  Good luck!
