Small sac in ratio to fetus at 7w6d u/s - please advise

So today I had the ultrasound where they are suppose to see a fetal heartbeat and check measurements.  Today I am 7w6d.   The HB was 163 and the CRL was 15 mm.   And that was good, but there was a big however.

My RE says the gestational sac looks small and there doesn't appear to be enough fluid.   He said not necessarily an indicator of miscarriage, but may be sign of developmental delay and he wants to see me back next monday.  The doctor says that it's a subjective opinion based on the size of the fetus and he thought the sac should look bigger and there should be more fluid.   He says I could go back next week and all will be fine. He says, "Sometimes these things happen."

The doctor also saw a patch of blood and said I shouldn't be suprised if I saw blood or spotting pass in the next few days.   He says it's old blood and it's just something that happens sometimes.   Apparently it looks like it's trying to drop towards the cervix.   I am not sure if this is incidental or related to the above issue.

So more waiting game for me.  I am furious!!

Has anyone been told the gestational sac is too small in ratio to the size the fetus?   The fetus measured appropriately and had a good HB.    And advice would be helpful.

I had my second pregnancy where I was told that the sac was irregular and not proportionate to the fetus.  I had a HB and went on to lose the baby a week later.  They told me there was no hope.  Your RE sounds hopeful.  I'll pray for you and your abby.  please remember the ultrasounds are just estimates.  all could turn out fine..
