Spotting after 2 Rising HCG Levels

Hi,

I am currently 4 1/2 weeks pregnant.I recently had two hcg level tests done. The second one was just done yesterday. They are rising(first was 500 and 4 days later was 3000). I just got the second hcg test results back yesterday. Unfortunately today I started to spot brown blood. I called my doctor and she said that I will need to have another hcg test done tomorrow. I am freaking out and worried sick. Does this sound like I am miscarrying? Thank you for answering promptly.

With your levels climbing it doesn't. When I miscarried in had bright red blood with clots and was very heavy with severe cramps labor contractions. Good luck hope things are okay let me know

It's not that uncommon to have some spotting. Take it easy and good luck.

Doctors office just called. Hcg levels are still going up. They said to just relax when I can. Thanks for your comments. I am so relieved!

Sorry you had to go through all that unnecessary stress.  I swear most docs don't care about anything else but billing insurance for tests and visits.  This pregnancy,  I let nature take its course and didn't schedule a doctors visit until 12 weeks.  But trust me,  i was on pins and needles waiting til the 12 week point.    Glad things look good and try not to let this affect how you feel about the pregnancy.

Thank God things are still looking in the positive direction :)  i didn't think sounds like a miscarriage but everything is different for every situation. I love telling this.
My mom was 19 when she got pregnant with my oldest brother.  She kinda thought she was pregnant then had spotting and her period a few times. This was 42yrs ago no ultra sounds. And as I said spotted and had a period not normal ones but drs kept saying noooo she's not pregnant until one night my dad rushed her to the local hospital with pain so bad in her back she wS doubled over and couldn't breathe. A maternity nurse gee the nurses trying to figure out what's wrong with her and the symptoms. She said let me check her the sounds she's making sounds like labor. Well low and behold my brother was Crowning lol. As I said many times of spotting and periods he's totally healthy. So odds things DO happen best of luck :)
