Threatened Miscarriage? Or just Anxiety?!!

Hello I was wondering if anyone experienced the same thing as me. I have had 2 miscarriages in 06 then 07 @ 5months. I just found out on June 6,09 that I was pregnant I took 2 ept and went to clinic to confirm. So on June 2 i went into ER to be sure that baby and I were ok as my pregnancy would now be classified as high risk. and I have very bad anxiety issues thanks to my X. So dr says that my hcg levels were right there where it should be but they couldnt see a heartbeat cause it may be just too early. Dr says that he did see a fetal pole so dont worry or stress about it but I should be ok. Just need to do a check up and another ultrasound. Now June 11, I go to another ER different state cause I spotted little pink spots and 2 hours later light brown discharge. hcg levels are okay. but they had a hard time finding the baby. then finally found baby but said that they couldnt see a heartbeat. ER sent u/s to specialist to read and they said that baby is measuring 7 weeks exactly i should have been exactly 9 weeks compared to my lmp. Also they now say they dont see a fetal pole or heartbeat but to come back again for another u/s seems like may be a threatened misscarriage =( Im really afraid and scared my husband and i really really want this baby! I read on other posts that there were alot of success stories similar to mines but i guess im looking for reassurance and some light here can anyone help?? Please???

Typically you can see the HB around 6 wks on ultrasound...

I will keep you in my prayer... I hope everything will be fine for you and the baby...

Keep us posted.

Good luck and take care.

First off, I am sorry for your losses.  I too have experienced multiple miscarriage, and I really understand your pain.  A couple of things.....your HCG levels are rising, that is a good sign.  Spotting or even bleeding does not necessarily mean anything wrong.  I have been doing that this whole first trimester, and so far all is well.  However, and I am sorry to have to say this, not seeing a heartbeat at 9 weeks, or even 7 is not a positive sign.  I have heard the odd story of someone not seeing it then, but finding it later, but that is not the norm.  I do hope it is the case for you.  All you can really do at this point is wait for the next ultrasound to see if there is growth.  Was the ultrasound transvaginal or abdominal?  I think that can make a difference, with the transvaginal being the more reliable at this point.  I truly hope this turns out well, I really do.  I am keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
