Time to check in....

Sometimes it's so hard to keep up with where everyone is at.  So time to update us!  Where are you at in your pregnancy or ttc efforts?  Anything new to fill us in on?

I'll start..

As many of you know my pregnancy sadly ended in m/c.  I had a D&C last week, and now am waiting for signs of O to try again.  There were no complications, so we are not going to wait one cycle.  I have a follow up with my OB in the morning.  We are very optimistic as I am still conceiving easily it seems, and well, it did take 6 tries for "perfection" the first time.  That is my attitude, and I will be successful!!!

Hello, sorry to hear about your loss.  I sure can relate.  Its not easy at 36 either.  But, Im keeping my head up.  I dont know if you remember me, but I took a couple of months of mental break.  It was worth it.  But, its a new year and my honey and I are trying again!  We are now starting.  I am on day 3 of my menstrual cycle and my body hasn't been doing well.  I have been spotting between periods a lot and Im still getting them every 21-24 days. We meet with my OBGYN to let them know that we are trying once again.  Im excited this time.  I need to get back on the ball on OPKs and Basal Temping.  Im hoping it won't take so long.  I would really like to conceive and give birth before the year is over!  Good Luck

Hi everyone.  I'm on my 8th month of ttc now I think.  I've lost count.  Currently in the tww at 13 dpo.  I have 2 precious children from a previous marriage and my new husband and I are trying for his first child. I don't have any fertility issues other than the fact that I'm getting older (35).  I'm hoping this will be my lucky month, but I'm not counting on it since I feel nothing out of the ordinary and I am expecting AF tomorrow.  Good luck to everyone!

My update: Being induced early Monday morning.  I have double checked my bags etc so this weekend I am just taking it easy and getting lots of rest.  We got a ton of snow in the past few days. It's beautiful outside but I am staying indoors.  We are having a mellow New Years at home. I don't feel like going anywhere.

Happy New Year! and let's see how many new babies we get this week.

35 weeks today for me!

bub has been dropping in & out of place over the last week or two, but spending more & more time with his head in my pelvis, which is such a relief for my poor aching ribs & diaphragm! Not much of a relief for my pelvis (which has a slight ache & a battered bladder)...or my walking style. As I said to my DH "you try sticking a head between your legs and see how well you walk!"

I got my first cankles this week... not bad for being as far along as I am. I've gained 16kg so far, and was hoping to stay under 20kg for the whole thing. I may not stay under, but at least I don't think I'll go too much over.

No GD, Iron & protein levels are all fine & within normal ranges. If we left out the two weeks of spotting at the start and the MS that continued until 18 weeks, I am having a healthy normal pregnancy! Yay!

Hospital bags are packed, birth plan is ready and I feel like a calm centre in the nervous storm that is my hubby!

I'm 10 weeks. I had a terrible back pain in the last two weeks. Last week after my ultrasound (that was good)  I decided to go to a Chiropractor specialized in pregnancy and I finally feel much better. everything else is good. Happy holiday to all of you.

How annoying Amanda to have to put ttc off.

AFM, it's been a year since my last miscarriage (gee that sounds like a confession). So obviously we've been trying without success for a year and 2 years if you count the two miscarriages. Ah well. Apart from that, life is very good. I've seen a RE but odds are poor for IVF at my age (43) so we'll just keep trying naturally and if things happen well and good.

So Sabrina may give us our Christmas baby....but I won't hope for that because you want her to wait..lol.

So good to hear everyone's updates...I have a new one of my own

I had a follow up with my OB yesterday.  On her recommendation I have decided to have my surgery on Jan. 13th.  So I guess that means ttc is on hold for me..for as short a time as possible.  Not serious surgery, but in the "female" region, so may be too painful for a few months.  It's ok though...

Glad everyone is doing well!!  Keep those updates coming!

I'm 31 weeks and all is going well. I have been blessed with an easy 7 months for the most part. My feet are swelling, but I've done well maintaining weight, no cravings oddly enough, and no mood swings... until today anyway  :-) No real anxiety about the baby but definitely a bit overwhelmed with the number of decisions we are having to make all at once.  We decided to wait in finding out sex of baby and this has not been well received by some of my family. Such is life... I'm happy. Hubby is happy. Baby is healthy.

I will be 38 weeks tomorrow!  At 40 this is my 4th and final child.  I'm not doing to bad.  I still get sick some mornings like today.  Jenna is very low and has been for about 6 weeks so I have been real soar and walk funny.  I am getting up about 2 times a night to pee.  Getting ocassional charlie horses at night but its easy to flex them away.  I'm hoping she will stay in until at least the 1st of the year. However, I will be so glad when tis is over and I can hold her.  I bought a real cute piggy bank today at the mall at a kiosk that puts their names on ornaments so I had them do it on the bank to place in her nursery. I went into major nesting mode this weekend and cleaned and got the basinnett and other items ready in my bedroom.  I have 4 cats who are going to hate me when I kick them out at night when she comes.

Well I went for my doct appt today and i gained 4 pounds and my princess is doing just fine in there. As all of you know i had a scare with my1 hour glucose coming back high and i had to go for the 3 hour but that came out fine. I am just taking one day at a time at this point waiting for my angel to come. It's getting harder now i can feel alot of pressure and i am tired alot. I have my good days and my bad days but in the end it will all be worth it. God Bless & Good Luck!!!

Hi Amanda!!!! I am so sorry for your loss and my heart is with you during your journey to conceive a brother or sister for Ryder!! I stopped trying to conceive because although my doctor tells me I am not menopausal and there is nothing wrong with me, I am now 8 months with no period. I spotted for a day or so in June and one day in October. They hardly constitute a period. My last real period was April 2nd and come This April I will have reached menopause. They say if you go a full year without a period you have reached it so there isn't any hope for me. I am extremely distraught over this but there isn't anything I can do about it so I just get on with my life. I will be 42 in February and I had said to myself in the beginning, that if it didn't happen by then that I would let it go. The good part I guess is that I've had no menopause symptoms AT ALL, other than the absence of AF. I guess I should count my blessings there. I have been doing this 3 day diet (you only eat what's on the menu for 3 days a week) and the rest of the week you eat how you normally do. However, I never really eat, so I've made myself stick to it on my days off...I eat healthy and small portions and in 2 weeks I have lost 17lbs. I am very happy about that, but I would have preferred being FAT with a baby, LOL!! Anyway, blah, blah, blah...I am still here because I am addicted to all of your stories and I sit with baded breath that you all reach your baby goal. Always know that I am here routing all of you on and although I am silent for the most part...I'm here everyday cheering you on and praying for all of your successes!!! I love you guys!!! Give that Ryder boy a big kiss for his cyber Aunt Dawn. I love the pics and can't believe that he will already be a year old next month. I love that I can watch him grow from afar!!! Have a very Happy Holiday Season to all of you!!!xoxoxxoox

I have been ttc going on my 9th month now. I have one child already, he is 18 years old so it has been a while. I have my first appt. with a fertility doctor on Wednesday. My FSH, LH, TSH are all normal. An ultrasound came back with possible PCOS but I get regular AF and positive opks every month. I am anxious to see what doc says Weds. and then I guess we will take it from there. I am very glad that I found the MH site. Communicating with others who understand exactly what I am going through has been a big help.

I'm almost 33 weeks pregnant and just started feeling pregnant in the past couple weeks.  I had virtually no pregnancy symptoms up until now.  But now my feet hurt, I am lazy (I was walking on the treadmill regularly until this month when it seems I have quit cold turkey), I feel like a giant sloth, am getting some pressure "down there", and had my first pregnancy mood episodes this weekend - crying and being mean to my husband for no reason.  What an update!
