Ugh miserable preg chick

24weeks! And I'm already tired! Where is this magical pregnancy most of you speak of? I wanna hold and love him now. I'm not sick just wayyy  uncomfortable. Working on No sleep at night. Tell me I'm not a weirdo and other people feel the same too. Where the hell is my butterflies and rainbows I keep hearing and reading  about that follow you around during your 40 weeks

I know I totally don't get all those women who say I loved being prego... Really I want to strangle them lol it's really not been that fun and the worst is yet to come.I'm 27 weeks and it's my first can't imagine doing this again any time soon haha!

Uhg. I'm feeling this way too. I thoroughly enjoyed my pregnancy up until about a month ago. I'll be 36 weeks on Tuesday and talk about uncomfortable :/ I'm 25yo and this is my first. I was in great shape before pregnancy, everyone said "it will be such s breeze" because of that. Wrong!!!

I'm right there with you! :-) 24wks / 40yo...and have previous pregnancies 10 and 14 years ago that were WAY different than this one. Those were rainbows and butterflies with little to no serious symptoms other than a growing belly and a few stretch marks. THIS one is totally different! I was brutally sick the first trimester and although that did go away...I have yet to get that bump in energy I was promised in the second trimester. Nope. Just exhausted all the time, feet swollen and cant bend to save my life. Not even going to go into the digestive system that seems to have stopped working completely! :-/ I'm very healthy, an athlete, and blown away how this guy is kicking my butt... LOL Yeah....no rainbows here either...although I am trying to balance the physical yucky with the emotional joy of having a baby after being told I could not...and trying to remember (especially while gagging down the occasional Horrific shot of Milk of Mag) that I'm enjoying a miracle and to wash that horrific taste down with a smile and gratitude. :-) WAY easier said than done most days. ...but yeah....I am SO ready for normal ...lol ....and just to hold him...

You're definitely not crazy.  I don't understand women who love being pregnant.  It's worth the end result,  but it's awful.

If you look through 99% of the posts over the pregnancy forums most of us are suffering!!! I am 14yr since being last pregnant and I don't remember it being this hard!!! The attitude of butterflies and rainbows normally come from people who aren't pregnant with very short memories!!! Good luck :-)

Honestly I think all women are different I was once nauseous and tired of being pregnant around 8-22 weeks I told my husband I was over being pregnant. But as you approach 26 weeks you will start to enjoy being pregnant at least I did and now I'm only 8 days from delivering my first child (boy) it's rough again I'm anxiously awaiting his arrival lol

I'm so there with you. I'm 20 weeks and so tired, I can barely get through my work day without needing a nap and now I'm having pain in my feet from my weight gain. No magical pregnancy here!

I have personally never heard of that except for maybe the young and idealistic. I don't hear many pregnant women who correlate their pregnancies with rainbows and butterflies. I think most of us are just anxious to have it over with. Anyway, this too shall pass. Take care.

Hahaha sorry this actually made me laugh because that's me! Turns out I am not one of those who love pregnancy. Don't hate it, but reeeealllyyyy don't love it. Love the end result though!
